I'll be honest, when it comes to the Super Bowl, I'm really in it for three things: The food, the people, did I mention the food?
It's probably not surprising that I love setting the scene for the perfect gathering where everyone can eat, talk, laugh, eat some more, and, oh yeah, watch the big game too. I've pulled together 10 great ideas to help you create your perfect Super Bowl party. The best thing about these ideas is that they are all easy! Yes! That means I can spend more time on food—making it AND eating it, of course.
Chalkboard
The Three Little Monkeys Studio has a lot of great football party printables on her site, but what I love most is how she used her chalkboard as decor. If you have a chalkboard hanging around your house, add a few X's, O's, and arrows and you've got an easy masterpiece to set the scene for your party.
Football Field Table
Would you believe that some felt, duct tape, and pre-cut numbers are all you need to make this football field table from A Night Owl Blog? You could even skip the felt and use a green plastic table cloth instead. Either way, your game day spread will look amazing on this!
Banner and Paper Chain
If you can hit print and wield a pair of scissors, then these decorations are within your reach. The printable yard line banner from Hostess with the Mostess (hint: she has a lot of great football party printables), and the adorable football paper chain from The Centsible Life will jazz up your party without breaking the bank or your patience meter.
Coasters
Can you even believe how cute these football coasters are? Stitched by Crystal nailed it with this simple design. I love it when form and function come together.
Silverware Caddies
Tin cans and a little paint are all you need for these silverware caddies from Rust & Sunshine. You don't even have to take the labels off the cans, that's how easy they are! Kids can get in on making these too. Family craft time for a good cause.
Foam Fingers and Megaphones
Frog Prince Paperie gives a tutorial on how to make the cutest foam fingers and mini megaphones. You can customize them for whichever team you're cheering for, and you can even do make them an activity you do with the kids at the party. I guess you don't have to spend big bucks to have team spirit.
Treat Bags
Peanuts, popcorn, pretzels, chips . . . you could fill these stamped paper snack sacks from Moonfrye with whatever you want. And, if you want a great party favor, I love their stitched football treat bag. She filled hers with gum balls, but I can think of a million things that would be a big hit.
Drink Labels
If you're not into doing specialty drinks, no problem! Just print off these football bottle wrappers from Eclectic Momsense, or the cute referee pattern from Spaceships and Laser Beams, cut, glue, and you're good to go. How cute would it be to do both?
Treats
If you're short on time, these treats from The Celebration Shoppe are a fast addition to the spread, but they will look like you spent forever preparing them.
Super Bowl Party Game
Why should the pro athletes get to have all the fun? Set up your own football party game like this one from Play Party Plan. Odds are you probably have all the supplies at home already. If not, you can easily pick them up at the dollar store.
After you get your craft on, try some of my party recipes to fill the table and pass around to the other TV commercial watchers. I mean football!! Football.
Spicy Grapefruit Guacamole and BBQ Popcorn!

Cute ideas for adding little touches to the big game party. I'm so in it for the food and the people. Oh and the commercials, don't forget the commercials.
